Here's Why You Want to Make A Better Choice
It is important for your health to stay away from anti-perspirants, as they have been linked to Altzheimer's, brain disorders, respiratory disorders and breast cancer.
Most products on the market are a combination of deodorant and anti-perspirants. Read labels, know what is going on your skin...deodorant is fine, but AVOID anti-perspirants. We take it one step further and avoid parabens, aluminum, artifical dyes, artifical fragrances.
The concentration of toxins causes cell mutation: CANCER.
AVOID THESE TOXIC INGREDIENTS:
Aluminum - Aluminum is often present in anti-perspirants. Aluminum closes pores and traps toxins in the body. These toxins make their way to the lymph nodes and can concentrate there. These can mutate into cancer cells and cause tumors in and around the underarms. Aluminum has been linked to Altzheimers, brain disorders, respritory disorders and breast cancer. BONUS: Aluminum is the component that causes yellow underarm stains. No aluminum, no yellow staining.
Parabens - a class of chemicals used as preservatives used in beauty products/cosmetics. They can be found in shampoos, commercial moisturizers, shaving gels, topical pharmaceuticals, spray tanning solution, makeup, toothpast and food additives. Parabens are linked to cancer, endocrine disruption, reproductive toxicity, immunotoxicity, neurotoxicity and skin irritation.
Fragrance - Fragrance can be both articifical and natural. Fragrances are mostly unregulated - look for essential oils for scent. There are at least 4000 different chemicals used by the fragrance industry today, many of which have never been tested for safety. A single fragrance can contain up to 200-600 individual chemical ingredients. Most synthetic fragrances today are made from petrochemicals, which give off volatile organic compounds (vocs), these compounds have been known to produce a myraid of allergic reactions including; eye, nose and throat irritation, headaches, dizziness, nausea, rash, and damage to the liver, kidneys, and central nervous system.
